PRESS RELEASE
Mazzoli Gallery is pleased to announce Sinfonia Quadridimensionale, Alessandro Sciaraffa's first solo exhibition at the Modena venue.
The exhibition features a collection of new works that explore in depth the intersections of sound, light, matter and space, offering the public a unique immersive experience.
Through a series of works that combine extreme formal rigor and intense evocative power, Sciaraffa investigates the relationship between the individual and the cosmos, creating an intimate and
profound dialogue with visitors. The title of the exhibition, Sinfonia Quadridimensionale (It., Quadrimensional Symphony), expresses the artist's ambition to go beyond the traditional boundaries of representation,
embracing time as the fourth dimension and transforming the exhibition space into an authentic pulsating organism.
In the exhibition, rectangular drums made of leather threads and brass coexist with tubular bells capable of generating harmonic vibrations that expand into the environment. Each work is not just an object,
but part of a larger orchestration that stimulates collective and personal reflection through the active participation of the public.
Each work presented contributes to a unifying experience that evokes a kaleidoscope of sensations: from a meditative calm to a sense of cosmic vastness, from exploratory curiosity to a deep
inner connection. Quadrilaterals, circles and lines punctuate the space, while the interplay of sounds and tangible vibrations creates an environment that transports visitors to a dimension where
time seems suspended and space becomes a sounding board for emotions and thoughts.
Known internationally for his ability to interweave art, science and philosophy, Alessandro Sciaraffa transforms Galleria Mazzoli into a sensory landscape, where the five elements
of nature - air, earth, fire, water and ether - give rise to a cosmic dialogue. This approach finds further expression in The Flower of Mars, an interplanetary art project that explores
universal balance through five stages of growth, culminating in the visionary gesture of planting a seed on the surface of Mars.
Audience activation becomes a central element: direct interaction with the works invites exploration of tangible vibrations, turning each participant into a co-creator of a unique and unrepeatable experience.
