Vincenzo Cabiati
Cy story
Opening on Saturday, October 10th, at 6 pm
Berlin / Eberswalder Str. 30
Galerie Mazzoli Berlin is pleased to invite you to "Cy Story", an exhibition by Vincenzo Cabiati featuring new works born from the artist’s fascination with a series of photographs of Cy Twombly’s home and studio in Rome.
Cabiati’s research explores the possibility of images being reborn through new media and new encounters between art-historical iconography and visual culture. His fascination with Baroque and Rococo, classical statuary, decoration, and domestic objects intertwines with Twombly’s own relationship with antiquity and myth.
